Partial Hospitalization (PHP)

The PHP program at Amatus Health is a community-based intensive treatment program. Clients live off-site in transitional or private housing and attend treatment for the majority of the day. The goal of this program is to begin adapting coping skills in a partially controlled environment.

  • Clients are transported to and from therapeutic programming at the facility
  • The program is usually 6-8 hours a day of group and individual therapy, 5-7 days a week
  • Outside community and 12-step meetings are encouraged

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

Our IOP Program reduces the hours of treatment and focuses on stepping down into a daily routine.  Clients begin to apply the coping skills they learned to stay sober, usually while living in supportive sober housing, transitional living residences, or at home.

  • This level of care offers 3-4 hours of therapeutic programming about 3-4 days per week
  • IOP enables clients to continue therapy while they obtain employment or continue school

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Outpatient

The data collected over the years and various medical studies indicate that Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an effective option for management of withdrawal symptoms and cravings for those who qualify.  MAT also lowers the risk of death due to overdose and increases retention rates with safer, controlled medications.  Every client is different and what may work for some may not work for all. This is why we perform a thorough assessment and plan an individualized treatment program collaboratively with the client.
